A Cabaret Evening with Bobby Byrne
On Friday, November 14th, the DACKKs Group, a Ramsey-based non-profit organization working to meet the needs of the homeless and people with disabilities, will host a special fund-raiser, "A Cabaret Evening with Bobby Byrne."
The Bobby Byrne Show is a unique blend of music that features Broadway show-stoppers, Irish ballads, Italian arias, hilarious novelty numbers, Elvis Presley rockers and old-time sing-a-long songs. It promises to be a great night of entertainment.
AND IT'S FOR A GREAT CAUSE. Net proceeds from the evening will go to further the efforts of the DACKKs Group, an all-volunteer organization that purchases, manages and maintains decent, safe and affordable housing to rent to people overcoming homelessness and those with special needs. The individuals contribute 30% of their income to the monthly rent; the DACKKs Group covers the rest. We were recently awarded a matching grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development that will allow us to significantly expand our program. Because this is a matching grant, we are working very hard to acquire those matching funds from state and county sources, private foundations and individual donors. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, 100% of monies we raise go directly to serve the needs of the program. Come join us for an evening of dinner, entertainment and fun in support of a worthy cause.
Join us from 7:30 till midnight, Friday November 14th, 2003
Tickets are $75.00 per person (includes show, dinner, wine/beer and soda).
